What should I do if I get the error message: "No Door Keeper has been detected"?

 

The installation of your Door Keeper is not succeeding, you are stuck because you encounter the message: "No Door Keeper has been detected."

There are three possible reasons for this:

  • Low battery,
  • Door Keeper is already paired,
  • The Internet gateway is not responding anymore.

1 / Low Battery

Check that the battery of the gateway is charged. Indeed, if it is too low, it can prevent the installation. Recharge it. Have a look on: how to recharge my battery.

 

2 / Door Keeper is already paired.

It is possible that your Door Keeper is already paired. To proceed with its installation, simply perform a reset.

 

3 / The Internet gateway is not responding

Make sure that the gateway is electrically powered and connected to your Internet network. These conditions are essential for the installation of your Door Keeper.
