You can save more than one io-homecontrol® device on the same radio channel to create groups of equipment. All devices configured on the same channel will then operate together. To add a device, follow the procedure explained previously (Adding an io-homecontrol® device). When selecting a channel, choose whichever already occupied channel you wish.
Note: It is recommended for optimum ergonomics to group all devices of the same type together on a single radio channel.
However, if the device that you are adding is not of the same type (e.g: adding a roller shutter to a channel occupied by a lamp), the pictogram of the last added product (roller shutter) will be given precedence. It is nevertheless possible to change the channel name (e.g.: “Lights” can become “Living room”).
