How can I manage TaHoma® scenes from my connected video doorphone?

 

Using scenes defined on TaHoma® allows you to automate actions and to also trigger them from your Somfy Protect app.

You can import up to two TaHoma® scenes into the Somfy Protect app.

To do this, go to the menu: My devices > Connected video doorphone > TaHoma® scenes

The TaHoma® scene list will open. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the Somfy Protect app.

The added scenes appear in the connected video doorphone tab.

 

1 / IF YOU GET THE MESSAGE: UNKNOWN EMAIL ADDRESS

This means you are using different email addresses to access your TaHoma® and Somfy Protect apps. To import your TaHoma® scenes into Somfy Protect, the email address used for the Somfy Protect account must be the same email address used for your TaHoma® account. 

In this case we invite you to:

  • Change your email address from your Somfy Protect account: Menu > My account > email.
  • Change your email address to the one you use on your TaHoma account®
  • Click on "Edit."
  • Confirm the change of email address by clicking on the link in the email sent to your new address.

 

2 / IF YOU GET THE MESSAGE: "NO TAHOMA® SCENE EXISTS ON THIS ACCOUNT."

 

The link between your TaHoma® account and your Somfy Protect account has been established, but no scene has been defined in the TaHoma® app. You must first create scenes in your TaHoma® account and then import up to two scenes in the Somfy Protect app.
