When a visitor presses the button on the door station, you are informed via :
- Your Somfy Protect application account,
- The monitor installed in the home
1/ Behaviour on the Somfy Protect application
As soon as a visitor makes a call from the door station, a notification is sent. It includes a photo of the visitor. To answer the call, simply open the notification, and you will directed directly to the Somfy Protect application home page.
Click on the microphone to speak to your caller.
You can open the gate to allow your visitor onto your property.
If several members of the household use the Somfy Protect application to control the V®500 Connect video intercom, the first user to intercept the call from their smartphone ends the call on the other smartphones.
2 / BEHAVIOUR ON THE MONITOR
When a visitor presses the call button on the door station, the monitor screen displays the video of the videophone and the control pictograms.
To take the call, press the "telephone off the hook" pictogram. The internal monitor's microphone and the door station's speaker are only activated once the call has been accepted.
During the call, it is possible to:
- open the gate,
- open the electric door-opener/lock,
- take a photo of the visitor.
- control Somfy RTS equipment (lighting in the alley, garage door, etc.)
Once the call is finished, press the "telephone hung-up" pictogram.
